Film is the most underutilized tool in basketball player development. There is so much a player can learn about themselves as well as their opponents from film study. Here at FilmFocus, we aim to enhance the basketball IQ of a player through film study of oneself, as well as others.

Check out this quote from Kobe talking about the importance of film study.

Film study is all about detail. From a young age - a very young age- I devoured film and watched everything I could get my hands on. It was always fun to me. Some people, after all, enjoy looking at a watch; others are happier figuring out how the watch works. It was always fun to watch, study and ask the most important question. Why?

Learning how to watch film is a skill. What am I watching? Why does it matter? How can I use what I’m watching to improve? These are all questions that a FilmFocus coach can answer on the introductory video call.
